(Singapore, ad-wow.com, 1 November 2007) – AdWOW! stamps its mark in the regional creative arena through a series of insightful talks within 4 months. With 3 major talks successfully completed and another 2 slotted in December 2007 and January 2008, AdWOW! has once again fulfilled its purpose of sharing its know-how of how good brand building principles can increase an organisation’s bottom line whilst providing invaluable guidance to our enthusiastic students. Feedback received from the participants who range from marketing directors, senior marketing managers, design academics to graduating students have been very encouraging.
This series of seminars kicked off in April 2007 with a return to Foon Yew High School after the successful WOW!Talk here a year ago. AdWOW!’s managing director, George Heng took the stage and delivered a 120-minute speech and gave audiences useful guidelines on leadership and talent management.
The Marketing Directors’ Summit July 2007 had George as one of the speaker sharing with fellow marketing experts at the talk in Singapore his wealth of knowledge and experience in his presentation entitled ‘Enhancing Business Value Through Creative Branding’. This 2-day event was attended by marketing directors, senior marketing managers and business owners who found the seminar ‘insightful’ and ‘thought-provoking’.
A 150-strong crowd of graduating students from the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) was all ears when George took the stage and spoke on ‘How to break into your dream creative career?’ in October. These students were eager to seek more advice and pointers on how to be more prepared for creative industry and to be better designers. Events such as this highlight AdWOW!’s contribution to creative education and is an investment in the creative potential of our talented budding designers.
The positive response received at all 3 WOW!talks has paved the way for greater things in the not too distant future. In the next few months, AdWOW! has been engaged to speak at 2 more upcoming talks in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. Be sure not to miss these insightful events by AdWOW!
