NESTLÉ® Finest Tea Series
from plantations straight into your teacup

(Singapore) - In October 2005, NESTLÉ® Singapore engaged AdWOW! to create a campaign for its first ever premium tea range products. Introduced under the NESTEA branding, the products received promising responses through various trade events and exhibitions.

AdWOW! was briefed to synergise the 3 premium tea extracts - Green Tea, Black Tea & Fruit Tea, into one common range of tea series. "The challenge in this brief lies in developing a similar direction for 3 different teas and yet at the same time, maintain each tea's distinctive characteristics," said George Heng, Creative Group Head at AdWOW!.

With the proposition that NESTLÉ®, brings only the freshest tea from the plantations straight into your teacup, the visual was cleverly executed with cups made up of the respective tea leaves filled with steaming hot tea. AdWOW! developed the complete look and feel of the new products from marketing kits down to the POS materials, including sales presenter cards, banners and shelf-talkers. After its successful introduction, a premium green tea gift box was confidently developed for selected supermarkets.

"We had some inhibitions on whether the cups will look good during the proposal stage, but AdWOW! managed to pull it off really well. The idea of using the tea leaf cups was something out of the box!" NESTLÉ® Manager of Innovation & Development, Cynthia Quek enthusiastically commented.
